An Exceptional Club Experience

Established in 1913, the Vernon Golf and Country Club has matured like a fine wine. The towering lombardy poplars and the majestic weeping willows draw attention to this lovely course situated between downtown Vernon and Kalamalka Lake.

With the magnificent hillside views and a creek meandering through the course, one can quickly settle into a peaceful round of golf. But don't become too relaxed as there are challenges galore. From the subtle breaking greens to the rolling contours of the fairways, there is something to challenge golfers of all calibers.

For those wanting to test their golfing abilities and yet enjoy the pleasure of playing in a park-like setting, this is probably one of the best kept secrets in the Okanagan. The club is considered semi-private, but visitors are always welcome to enjoy its warm hospitality. Situated on Kalamalka Lake Road, off Highway 6, the golf course is only minutes from downtown Vernon. From Highway 97 South, take the Okanagan College turnoff and follow the road past Kalamalka Lake only three short minutes from the area's most popular beach.

Whether it's a round of golf or just a visit to the club, you'll enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of our modern clubhouse. Facilities include a fully stocked golf shop, with three accredited professionals, power carts, club rentals, a restaurant/dining room, a golfers lounge and a large patio with a sweeping view of the golf course and surrounding mountains.
