Joining the Club

The Vernon Golf & Country Club was first established in 1913, and as such boasts a tradition of golf and social activity. Our championship course and comfortable atmosphere provide members with a total golf experience.

The Entrance fee to join the Club is currently $2,750 plus GST (50% for spouse).  Annual dues, Capital Assessments & Food & Beverage Assessments are paid annually.  Currently there is a wait list to join the Regular, Afternoon, Out of Town or Intermediate Membership Categories. A wait list application form can be found at the  top of this page. There is a $500 wait list deposit fee required for the Regular, Afternoon & Out of Town.  No deposit is required to be placed on the Intermediate wait list.

As a Member of the Vernon Golf & Country Club, you will be entitled but not limited to:
  • Preferred tee times all golf season / online booking system – 7-day advance booking
  • Discount on golf equipment, golf clothing and some accessories
  • Power cart packages available
  • Preferred “guest of member” rates
  • Ability to play in "member only" golf events
  • The opportunity to represent your Club at various interclub events
  • Golf Canada / Golf BC handicap card
  • Member only website access for online booking, newsletters & more
  • Reciprocal rates with other semi-private and private clubs
  • Golf Shop assistance in booking tee times at other golf facilities
  • Monthly payment plans on dues through EFT
  • Intermediate membership category (ages 19-44) may pay for entrance fee over the number of years until age 44

Afternoon Membership

Afternoon Membership is currently full.  Please apply for memberhsip in this category by completing the wait list application form at the top of this page.

  • Daily Tee-times after 12 pm
  • Member Guest Rate for Tee-times before 12 pm
  • Member only website access

Intermediate Membership

Intermediate Membership is currently full.  Please apply for memberhsip in this category by completing the wait list application form at the top of this page. (No wait list deposit fee is required for the Intermediate category).   Intermediate membership is for those between the ages of 19 to 44 and allows the payment for the entrance fee over a number of years until age 44 as per the Intermediate schedule.

Out of Town Membership
Out of Town Memberships are currently full.  Please complete the form at the top of the page to be placed on the wait list.
  • 20 Rounds of golf per annum
  • Principal Residence must be 150 km away from the Club
  • $200 Annual Food & Beverage Assessment
Junior Membership
Junior Membership is available to those between 12 and 18 years of age. As a Junior Member of the Vernon Golf & Country Club, you will be entitled to:
  • Unlimited rounds of golf within the playing time restrictions* of a Junior Member
  • Golf Canada handicap card
  • Member only website access
  • Member only on-line booking system
  • Member only handicap system
  • Member only junior education days
  • Membership dues cannot be paid by credit card
The Vernon Golf & Country Club can accommodate up to 120 junior members. Dues cannot be paid by credit card.

Restriction of play & junior nights - tba

No playing privileges before 1:00 pm
No playing privileges on Wednesday (Men’s Day)

Junior Membership Application

Jr. Junior Membership
Jr. Junior Membership is available to those between 8 and 11 years of age.  As a Jr. Junior Member of the Vernon Golf & Country Club, you will be entitled to:
  • Playing privileges after 3 pm everyday except Wednesdays (Men's Day) and must be accompanied by an adult member or paid green fee player
  • May submit advance ballots for appropriate times
  • Parents must sign a liability waiver.
  • Golf Professional has to approve Jr. Junior member based on their ability to golf and their awareness of the rules and etiquette.
  • Must engage in the Mentorship Program (arranged through the Golf Shop where the Jr. Junior member plays three times with an adult member learning the rules and etiquette of the game)
  • Limited to 12 members
  • Membership dues cannot be paid by credit card
